Experience with Tandem and Complex Lifting Operations

I have extensive hands-on and supervisory experience with tandem lifts and complex lifting operations involving heavy and oversized loads. This includes hoisting loads using two cranes simultaneously, requiring precise load calculations, synchronized movements, and strict adherence to approved lift plans.

  My experience covers:

• Development and review of critical lift plans

• Load weight verification, center of gravity analysis, and load sharing calculations

• Crane selection based on load charts, radius, and environmental conditions

• Coordination between crane operators, riggers, and lift supervisors

• Implementation of clear communication protocols (radio and hand signals)

• Risk assessment and control of hazards such as wind, ground conditions, and proximity to structures

• All tandem and complex lifts were executed in accordance with recognized HSE standards, manufacturer specifications, and site-specific safety procedures, with a strong focus on preventing overloads, instability, and personnel exposure.
